Natural enemies turned into Friends? This male brown bear and female gray wolf were spotted and captured by photographer, Lassi Rautiainen, 56 in the wilds of Finland.

Lassi followed this happy pair for 10 days where they were seen enjoying each other’s company everyday.
The duo were seen playing!
Even hunting and eating together!
Friendships between deadly apex predators like this are almost unheard of in the wild. In an interview, Lassi said “No-one can know exactly why or how the young wolf and bear became friends. I think that perhaps they were both alone and they were young and a bit unsure of how to survive alone. It is nice to share rare events in the wild that you would never expect to see.”
I truly agree with that sentiment, It’s so nice to see unlikely friendships blooming in the distant corners of Earth! Comment below if you know of any friendship stories like this.
